Clean and safe hotel with close proximity to main tourist streets. Three cheap supermarkets nearby for convenient food options. Microwave in the hall for easy meals. Easy access to Universal Park, aquarium, and Kyoto via affordable train. Great value for money, with private rooms that can double as an office space for freelancers. Sauna and bath facilities comparable to those in 5-star hotels. Calm and quiet street at night. Budget-friendly restaurant nearby.
Felt like royalty, no complaints.

I absolutely loved the cozy atmosphere and charming decoration throughout the hotel. The lovely traditional Japanese artwork and comfortable seating areas made me feel right at home. As a senior woman, I appreciate that the hotel's general areas were easily accessible, with clear signage and well-lit corridors. It was such a delight to relax and unwind in the beautiful surroundings.
The only thing I would ask for a better vacation experience for senior people is if the children working there could provide more assistance with luggage.

The location of the hotel was perfect, with easy access to the subway and convenience stores nearby. The in-house spa room was a great feature and I appreciated being able to use it for free. having a washing machine in the hotel was very convenient.
The noise insulation in the rooms was extremely poor. I could hear everything happening in the hallway and neighboring rooms, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

We had a great stay at Mikado! The hotel was very clean and the cleaning staff did an excellent job. The new chill out area was a nice addition and we loved the free tea. The hotel staff were polite and the young guy at the front desk even allowed us to check in early. we felt valued and appreciated as guests.

Enjoyed borrowing their complimentary bikes and the free Wi-Fi. So impressed with the fire extinguisher and smoke detector for safety. Loved having a microwave and fridge in the common area, felt like home!
Just adored the small and uncomfortable bunk bed, such a joy to sleep on.

I recently stayed at a centrally located hotel in Osaka for the fourth time. I was impressed with the provided amenities such as towels, coffee, teas, slippers, and toothbrushes. The in-house onsen and sauna were a nice touch. The individual room I stayed in had a comfortable bed. The availability of kitchen utensils and a fridge was convenient. The hotel also had a coin-operated washing machine and dryer. Additionally, the presence of a lift made it easy to access all the rooms. The proximity to a convenience store, subway, JR station, and direct airport train station was incredibly convenient. Furthermore, there were many nearby attractions like Tennoji Zoo and Osaka Tower. Considering the facilities and location, the hotel offered a reasonable rate. Despite being over 30 years old, it was well-kept and clean.

Recently stayed at a hotel in south Osaka for a few nights. Great location with easy access to multiple train stations, making travel convenient. Affordable price for a room with a small TV, refrigerator, and comfortable bed. Clean bathroom with three shower options. Helpful staff despite limited English. Near traditional bars and close to metro station and convenience store. a fine hotel for the price.
Totally recommend this hotel.

The staff at Mikado were incredibly helpful and made our stay enjoyable. Although the internet connection was a bit weak in our room, we were able to connect in the common area. The rooms were clean and spacious for Japan, and we appreciated the free bike rental. The location was convenient, with a metro station nearby and easy access to the city. I would recommend this hotel for its friendly staff, clean rooms, and convenient amenities.
